Not sure where to start?

Tell me where you're at. I'll point you to the right place.

Start small. Start free.

You don't need to learn every tool. Pick one thing that saves you time this week, get good at it, then add the next. These are the best places to begin.

Use AI responsibly - and actually save time.

AI won't replace good teaching, and using it doesn't make you lazy. Here's how I use it in my own classroom, plus the prompts and training to do the same.

Build staff capability that sticks.

Professional learning that respects teachers’ time and shows up in classrooms the next day - not another PD session that goes nowhere.

Meet Tristan

A teacher who gets it - because he's still in it.

I've been teaching in primary and secondary schools since 2011. Early on I saw how the right tools could lift engagement and learning - not replacing good teaching, but backing it up.

So I built Evolve EdTech and the Empowered Educator Hub: a place to grow your skills, confidence and impact, inside the classroom and beyond it. Everything I share, I've tested with real students first.

Two years running

Recognised in 2025 and 2026 by the Corporate Vision Education and Training Awards.

Still teaching full-time, still testing everything in a real classroom first.

Because you're more than just a teacher.

Teaching isn't a 24/7 identity. The Teacher Timeout is a new movement reminding educators they're humans first - with hobbies, people and lives that matter just as much as the marking pile.

So close the laptop. Do the thing you love. Whatever's in your inbox can wait until tomorrow.

Real teachers. Real classrooms.

The Hub has helped me feel much more confident using AI and EdTech in my classroom. Everything is practical, easy to follow and designed with busy teachers in mind.
SSarahSecondary Teacher, Melbourne, Australia
I love that I can find ideas I can actually use straight away. The resources have saved me planning time and encouraged me to try tools I probably wouldn't have explored otherwise.
MMichaelPrimary Teacher, Singapore
The templates and AI ideas have been incredibly useful. I can take an idea from the Hub, adapt it for my students and have something ready to use without spending hours creating it myself.
PPriyaLearning Support Teacher, Mumbai, India
The Hub has given me plenty of ideas that I can share with staff. The resources are clear, approachable and useful for teachers with very different levels of confidence with technology.
CClaireAssistant Principal, Dublin, Ireland
I don't have hours to spend learning complicated new platforms. The Hub gives me simple ideas, useful resources and practical guidance that I can fit around everything else teachers have to do.
DDanielPrimary Teacher, Brisbane, Australia
The Hub feels like professional learning I can access when I actually need it. I've found plenty of ideas that I can use myself and then share with the teachers I support.
AAmandaInstructional Coach, Texas, USA
Live and recorded Hub sessions, including EdTech Explorers and Digital Escape Rooms

Imagine walking into class each day completely confident in the tools you use.

Your lessons are engaging, your students are motivated, and your time is spent teaching - not troubleshooting. You have a library of resources at your fingertips and a community of educators who get it.

This isn't just about technology. It's about feeling proud of the learning you create, and knowing you're preparing your students for the future.

The Overwhelmed Teacher

The Overwhelmed Teacher

September 07, 2026•2 min read

Let’s be honest. Teaching today isn’t what it used to be.

We’re juggling:

  • Endless admin and marking

  • Lesson prep that seems to never end

  • Trying to keep students engaged in a digital-first world

  • New tech platforms popping up every other week

For many teachers, the thought of adding “edtech” on top of all this feels exhausting.

But here’s the thing: when done right, edtech isn’t an extra task. It’s the key to:

  • Reclaiming time through streamlined workflows

  • Engaging students with tools that actually excite them

  • Simplifying assessment & feedback so it’s less about paperwork, more about learning

  • Boosting your confidence so you can focus on teaching, not troubleshooting

That’s exactly why I created The Tech-Ready Teacher Academy.

It’s not another one-off PD you forget in a week. It’s an ever-growing membership hub, built specifically for educators who want practical, classroom-ready training without the overwhelm.

Here’s what you’ll find inside:
✅ Step-by-step tutorials on the tools teachers actually use (Google, Canva, ChatGPT & more)
✅ Time-saving templates to download and use straight away
✅ Monthly micro-courses designed to fit into a busy teacher schedule
✅ Exclusive workshops with real strategies you can trial tomorrow
✅ A supportive community where you’re never learning alone

Whether you’re:

  • Pre-service, wanting to stand out before you graduate

  • Beginning, trying to keep up with the demands of your first years

  • Experienced, but feeling left behind by constant tech changes

  • Casual, looking for flexible PD that moves with you

  • Or even retired, still wanting to learn and share your wisdom

The Academy has a place for you.

And here’s the best part: we’re offering Founding Member pricing at just $49/month until 31 January 2026 (and that's $49/month for life as long as you stay an active paying member).

This isn’t just about learning new apps. It’s about transforming your teaching, saving your sanity, and future-proofing your career.
